FABLE

THE SON OF THE LION KING AND PAINTED

A king, whose only son was fond of martial exercises, had a dream in which he was warned that his son would be killed by a lion.
Fearful that the dream become a reality, built for his son a pleasant palace, and for fun embellished the walls with pictures of all kinds of life-size animals, among which was that of a lion. When the young prince saw this, and be confined in, his grief broke out, and standing near the drawing of a lion, said:

- Oh you, the most detestable of animals! intimidating for a dream of my father and what he saw in his dream, I've been locked up in this palace as if I were a villain. What I do now? -

Completing these words, and without further thought, stretched their hands toward a thorn tree, trying to cut a stick from its branches so that it could hit the lion. But one of the thorns pierced his finger tree and caused great pain and inflammation, so the young prince fell into a swoon. A violent fever suddenly seized him, and he died not many days later.
